Who we are
Pillow & Post is an independent publisher operated by Type 5 Marketing LLC. You can reach us at info@pillowandpost.com. This policy explains what data we collect when you use this site and what we do with it.
Information you give us
The only information you actively provide is what you type into our contact form: your name, email address, chosen topic and message. We use it solely to read and respond to your message. We don’t add you to a marketing list, and we don’t sell or rent it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which links get clicked (including our buy links, so we can see which content is useful). Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally. Google sets cookies to do this; you can block them with your browser settings or a browser extension.
When you click a buy button, you’re sent to a retailer (currently Amazon) through a redirect that adds our affiliate tag. The retailer may set a cookie so any resulting purchase is credited to us. That cookie is governed by the retailer’s own privacy policy, not ours.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics as described above. We do not use advertising cookies or sell audience data. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work.
Data sharing
We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work — our email provider (Microsoft) to deliver contact messages, and Google for analytics — and only for those purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
You can email us to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion of a contact message you sent. You can block analytics cookies in your browser. Because we collect so little, there is usually very little to act on.
Children
This site is intended for adults making household purchases and is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
